Part 1: Request Macropoint Credentials
In order to set up your integration with Macropoint, you need to request the following credentials from them: Macropoint ID API Password
Request these credentials by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the MacroPoint Service Desk 1-888-544-3844, Option 2.
Part 2: Configure Macropoint Integration in Alvys
Navigate to the Management page, then select the subsidiary you wish to integrate with Macropoint.
Next, find and select the blue Integrate button.
Select Macropoint from the Integration Type drop-down menu.
Enter your Macropoint ID and API Password in the configuration menu.
Click the blue Save button.
Part 3: Configure Settings in Macropoint
Reach out to email@example.com to request your Alvys Company ID. The Alvys Support team will reply with this information, which will be used in the following steps.
Once you receive the company code, fill in the “ XXXXX” portions in the URLs below, which will be added to your Macropoint account:
Location Updates : https://api.alvys.com/api/macropoint/locationUpdates/XXXXX
Order Status : https://api.alvys.com/api/macropoint/orderStatus/XXXXX
Trip Events : https://api.alvys.com/api/macropoint/tripEvents/XXXXX
After updating the company code in each of the URLs above, add these to your Macropoint Settings.
Once these are configured, you’re all done!
