To begin setting up your integration with Trackensure, please make sure you have your subsidiaries set up first. Then, follow the instructions below:

Part 1: Request a Trackensure API Key or generate one from within the platform

1
Please send an email to your Trackensure representative and request the API Key, or, inquire with the ELD provider on how to generate one yourself.

2
After you’ve received/generated your API key, please proceed to Part 2.

Part 2: Enter the Trackensure API Key in Alvys

1
Once you have your Trackensure API Key, you are ready to configure it within Alvys. Navigate to the Management page within Alvys by clicking the Profile button in the upper right corner, then select “Management”.

2
On the Management page, select the proper subsidiary from the left hand side, then find the Integrations section.

3
Expand the ELD section of the integrations list and click on the crayon icon from the TFM integration box:

4
This will open a dialog box where you would be prompted to enter the Trackensure API Key. Once those have been entered, please click the Save button:

Part 3: Add the Trackensure asset ID to individual assets within Alvys (this will allow location tracking)

*Before beginning part 3, you’ll need to have your trucks and/or trailers set up in the Alvys system.

1
Find the Assets option on the blue Alvys toolbar, then select either trucks or trailers (depending on what you need to set up).

3
On the asset page, scroll down to find the ELD Integrations section, then click the blue Add Integration button. Then, the Add Integration pop-up window will appear.

4
In the Add Integration window, click the drop-down menu and select Trackensure.

5
Next, find the corresponding asset ID, (it can be found as part of the hyperlink when opening that asset in the Trackensure Platform).

1
Go to your assets page in Trackensure link

2
Click on the View in New Window button on the corresponding asset

6
In your browser, observe the permalink to that asset: https://trackensure.com/fleet/manager/truckProfile/#/id/25236 then enter this highlighted number (25236) into the Integration ID field in the Add Integration window.

7
Click the blue Save button. Then, repeat steps 2 through 6 for the rest of your Trackensure trucks and/or trailers. After you’ve completed this step for applicable assets, then you’re done! Great job!
