To begin setting up your integration with Master ELD, please make sure you have your subsidiaries set up first. Then, follow the instructions below:
Part 1: Request a ELD Rider API Key or generate one from within the platform
1
Please send an email to your ELD Rider representative and request the API Key, or, inquire with the ELD provider on how to generate one yourself.
2
After you’ve received/generated your API key, please proceed to Part 2.
Part 2: Enter the ELD Rider API Key in Alvys
1
Once you have your ELD Rider API Key, you are ready to configure it within Alvys. Navigate to the Management page within Alvys by clicking the Profile button in the upper right corner, then select “Management”.
2
On the Management page, select the proper subsidiary from the left hand side, then find the Integrations section.
3
Expand the ELD section of the integrations list and click on the crayon icon from the ELD Rider integration box:

4
This will open a dialog box where you would be prompted to enter the ELD Rider API Key. Once those have been entered, please click the Save button:

Part 3: Add the ELD Rider asset ID to individual assets within Alvys
*Before beginning part 3, you’ll need to have your trucks and/or trailers set up in the Alvys system.
1
Find the Assets option on the blue Alvys toolbar, then select either trucks or trailers (depending on what you need to set up).
2
From the list of assets, find and double-click the particular asset you are ready to assign. This will open the Edit Asset page.
3
On the asset page, scroll down to find the ELD Integrations section, then click the blue Add Integration button. Then, the Add Integration pop-up window will appear.
4
In the Add Integration window, click the drop-down menu and select ELD Rider.
5
Next, enter the ELD Rider asset ID (it should be the truck # as it is registered in ELD Rider) into the Integration ID field in the Add Integration window.

6
Click the blue Save button. Then, repeat steps 2 through 6 for the rest of your ELD Rider trucks and/or trailers. After you’ve completed this step for applicable assets, then you’re done! Great job!
