What information is required for Alvys to upload my assets for me? [, 5 min. read]


During my onboarding call, I was told that I could provide a list of all my trucks, trailers, drivers, and companies to Alvys, and you'd set up my assets for me. What information do I have to send you to upload my assets for me?


Alvys has a lot of information that can be saved and viewed for each of your asset types. We do not require you to send us every possible piece of information in order to import your assets for you, but we do need a few key pieces of information to ensure we set up the assets properly. For this reason, we ask that you provide lists of your asset information, and we'll store as much information as possible – as long as the minimum required information is provided in an excel worksheet or CSV file (.xls, .xlsx, or .csv).

The mandatory information for import varies, depending on the type of asset. Please see a list of all required information, below.

For Drivers, we require:

First/Last Name

Driving or Not (yes or no)

Driver Type (owner-operator, contractor, or company driver)

Mobile phone number

Subsidiary Name

For Trucks, we require:

Truck #

For Trailers, we require:

Trailer/Asset ID

Equipment Type

Size of Trailer

For Companies, we require:


Address Line 1




Contact Name

Contact Phone Number
